Christmas trees

This week both Rowans and Willows had fun making some mini Christmas tree pictures, using off-cuts from a real Christmas tree. They cut four different lengths of fir branch and stuck them on to their picture with the longest piece at the bottom and the shortest at the top. They then hammered a star shape into a yellow leaf and added it to the top of the tree. We thought the pictures looked fabulous.

Rowans and Willows also painted pictures of baubles, using pieces of the fir branch as a paintbrush, made Christmas pictures using natural materials, made some jingle bells by threading shells and had fun playing,  exploring and making the most of their last session out in Forest School.
Oaks have had a great term and we have seen so much progress since September. They are really settled into the routines and enjoy all that Forest School has to offer. Look at the smiles and engagement…

Merry Christmas everyone
We’ll be back in the New Year!
